If anyone or any institution is considering signing up for Nat Geo learning utilising SPARK, I seriously recommend ensuring you will be able to receive proper support when you have difficulties. This is because from my experience when you have signed up, paid your money, support or interest in helping you solve your problem is practically non-existent. You will receive a ticket when you email them promising swift assistance, then you will receive a generic non-helpul video, & further emails requesting help will be ignored, as a poor unfortunate student of mine & my colleagues' students found out. I strongly recommend not wasting time or money with this. It will be far far better to find a means to study face to face with a teacher with a book that does not come with caveats or problems and where you will be able to access the help or support you require. Do your research.

I'm sorry to say this series is an embarrassing example of poor editorial and quality control. A few interesting pictures and irrelevant text, as well as a misguided approach to pronunciation, does not a coursebook make. There are such things as standards and best practices in ELT, and this "ain't" one of 'em. Moreover, it is falsely promoted as "American English" in the States and something else in other parts of the world. Very poor audio production, with obviously fake accents being employed. Really, it's ponderous.
